Christmas-time with the Krocks!

We had a lot of excitement this Christmas! Besides the usual busy-ness of the holidays, Matthew came down with strep throat over Thanksgiving. Ten days later, Mommy got it! (Not good for the baby!)

We had an ultrasound to see the new baby and of course Mommy was busy making Christmas presents and baking Christmas goodies.

On top of celebrating Christmas (with lots of presents for Matthew, of course,) we had a wedding to go to in Kansas City, Missouri. Mommy's cousin, Andrew Klein, was getting married on December 30th!

Andrew's fiance, Erin, told Auntie Katrina back in May: "Oh, it doesn't get as cold in Kansas City as you California people think!" Guess what? IT DID! But now we're getting ahead of ourselves......

Matthew and Daddy are showing off their Christmas PJs that Mommy made for them. Comfy flannel pj pants and boxer shorts! (Whatta domestic goddess!)

When we were in Kansas City, the weather was pretty much between 0 and 13 degrees the whole time (usually right in the middle there.) As you can see in the picture on the left, the snow would not "stick" to make snowballs nor a snowman! Matthew just wanted to build a snowman! The snowballs "exploded" mid-air! That picture was taken outside the Crown Plaza.

Of course, it was cold enough that Matthew did not want to stay outside for very long. As you can see in the picture on the right, that did not motivate Matthew to keep his gloves on. He hated wearing his gloves even though it was so cold! This picture was taken at Andrew's Grandma Klein's house.
