Yes, the scale
reads: 9 lbs, 4.6 oz! Spencer was born May 10, 2001 at 11:49 pm,
so many of these pictures were actually taken the day after his
birthday, May 11, 2001.

AVP stayed with
us throughout labor walking the hallways, forcing Age to drink
her juice (along with Kevin,) bringing in lunch and dinner for
Kevin, calling Tony to pass along our updates to anxious friends,
and even holding Age's leg for the first push, before she retreated
to patiently wait the rest of labor from the waiting room! AVP
returned after Spencer was born and even took a few digital photos
which graced the front page of MousePlanet May 11-13, 2001.
Matthew Meets
Spencer!
Matthew was very
excited to meet Spencer. He kept saying "Hi, Baby!"
over and over again!
Matthew gave
his little brother gentle kisses on his head.
How happy was
Matthew? He was overwhelmed with enthusiasm. He wanted to kiss
Spencer's feet!
