Summer 2000 Page Four

We drove up to Plumas all in one day-- twelve hours straight with just 3 stops (and he only got out of the car for 2 of them!)

But we took two days to drive home.

On the way, we stopped in Modesto at a kid-friendly Holiday Inn. The water in the pool was a little cold at first for Matthew.

After awhile, he was splashing, kicking and, of course, laughing!

What a trooper!
