Matthew & Spencer love trains. They love to play
with their train layouts and their ride-on train. They love to
watch the BNSF Freight Trains and the Metrolink passenger trains
that regularly cruise through town.
Here, Matthew helped Spencer ride their train on the
patio.
Our family has a membership to the Orange Empire Railway
Museum in Perris, California. On weekends, OERM runs electric
cars and diesel engines pulling cabooses and other cars. Matthew
loves to ride up in the top of the caboose. Here, Matthew, Pop-Pop,
Spencer, and Daddy enjoy a ride.
In November, OERM hosted Thomas the Tank Engine for two weekends.
On Saturday, November 9, we went so Matthew and Spencer could
meet one of their heroes, Thomas. Grandpa Bob is holding Spencer
while we wait to ride on Thomas. Afterward, we took some photos
with Thomas. Matthew was a little reluctant to meet Sir Tophamhat
(far right) even though he had talked about it for months. Daddy
and Spencer helped Matthew find the courage to take a photo with
Sir Tophamhat.
